It is one of the most widely accepted vascular laser with dynamic cooling. Thanks to this cooling procedures using this laser are almost painless. It is best used for dealing with expanded facial veins, varicose veins on lower limbs, for removing minor vascular growths, port wine stains, viral warts and for the treatment of scars and stretch marks. The laser beam reacts in a targeted way with the red blood colouring creating heat which destroys the vessel for it later to be absorbed. Following the procedure the location temporarily darkens, but the darkening disappears after 10 days and the point fades. This is done according to doctor’s instructions, care is taken to avoid sunlight (which can induce pigmentation of the treated spot).
