 Removal of unwanted hairEyebrows and hairLaser depilation is performed using a GentleLase alexandrite laser (Candela, USA), regarded as the best depilation laser on the market. The laser is fitted with dynamic cooling, which increases patient comfort during the procedure.
Through use of laser depilation we achieve a permanent reduction in undesired body hair. The target of the laser is the pigment in the hair and in the germinal part of the hair bulb. Because hairs are to be found in various stages of growth, this treatment must be repeated several times. The quickest results are obtained with dark hairs, light hairs require multiple treatments. Any part of the body can be depilated. Depilation by laser is in general well tolerated. The treatment can be made more comfortable by the use of a desensitising cream. A soothing cream is used immediately following the procedure; protection against UV radiation is needed.
