![]() Permanent make-up (micropigmentation)Permanent make-up represents a method of temporary skin pigmentation which is currently used mainly for sculpting or reconstruction of eyebrows, upper and lower eyelines, correction of lip shape or for lip enlargement. If performed correctly, it makes daily make-up much easier, but does not fully replace it. Face treated with permanent makeup should look naturally even after complete makeup removal. Fractional laser may be used also for correction of scars – e.g. after repeated cold sores or after plastic surgery of breast areola. In patients with complete loss of hair (alopecia, chemotherapy) micropigmentation may replace eyebrows or eyelines. The principle of the method is applying pigment into the border between 1st and 2nd skin layer (epidermis and dermis), there it stays for 1-5 years, later it is gradually broken down by the immune system and the color fades. The procedure is a surface procedure, healing happens by means of fine crusts which peel off within several days. To alleviate pain local or regional anesthetic agents are used. Prices – Permanent make-up
