PNEUVEN RELAX permits pleasant and effective mechanical lymphodrainage through a progressive pressure wave from the extremities to the centre, where the lymph is cleansed and then returns from the centre to the extremities. How does PNEUVEN RELAX work?
It is a massage machine which works on the principle of pressure waves. For this reason this procedure is known medically as pressotherapy. The machine, using its cuff, provides drainage of the lower limbs, stomach, hips, bottom and waist. The special trouser cuff is divided into separate chambers, into which air is introduced. The chambers expand and force lymph and blood from the extremities towards the centre and then back. The drainage thus takes place using a strong pressure wave, the pleasant pressure being directed towards the subcutaneous layer. This achieves activation of the lymphatic vessels and improved removal of toxic materials retained in the body. It is an important part of convalescence following liposuction of the thighs, stomach and hips and contributes to a more attractive and younger-looking appearance of the skin.
A contraindication is varicose vein inflammation.
10 to 20 treatments are recommended (1 to 3 applications a week), the length of a single treatment is about 45 minutes
