Sores
Herpes simplex (cold sore) is a very common viral infection which manifests as a red raised seat with blisters, is very painful and can occur anywhere on the body. It recurs frequently. Recurrence can be prevented using a biostimulation laser, which also improves healing of the skin at the site of the sore.
A more serious variety is Herpes Zoster (shingles) which is caused by a different virus. There is no single seat, but several spread along a nerve. With shingles considerable pain very often persists in the location after healing has taken place, this can be treated using a biostimulation laser.
