Broken veins
The cause of vascular growths, port wine stains, rosacea, facial veins and expanded veins on the lower limbs is expanded or multiple blood vessels in the skin, and for this reason they are all treated in the same way, using a vascular dye laser.
If stretch marks and scars are red, this means that there are multiple blood vessels here also and these are also best treated with a vascular dye laser.
For veins less than 1mm in diameter (microveins) we recommend sclerotherapy, which consists of the injection of a special material directly into the veins using fine needles; this leads to their gradual absorption. After the procedure we recommend that patients always wear Class II elastic compression stockings for a period to be determined (depending on scope of the treatment).
