Treatment with depigmentation laser
Removal of pigmentation and tattoos is done using a Q-switched alexandrite laser (Candela, USA), one of the most powerful available.
The precisely targeted laser beam pulverises the melanin or pigment into fine particles, which are subsequently absorbed and carried off by the white cells.
Using this laser we can remove old-age pigmentation, freckles, some birthmarks, tattooing, permanent make-up, scars and other hyperpigmentation.
The procedure causes mild pain, increased comfort can be obtained by using a desensitising cream. Healing of the treated area takes place through surface scabbing. Protection is required against UV radiation.
